Services to Persons with
Disabilities
If you have a physical or
mental disability and want to work full or part-time, you may be eligible
for one or more of the following Vocational Rehabilitation services. If you
receive SSI or SSDI Social Security benefits, and want to work, you are
automatically eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation services:

Medical or psychological
exams and treatment (not covered by insurance or other services)

Physical aids (artificial
limbs, leg braces, hearing aids, etc.)

Academic, vocational, and
work adjustment and training

Special services for the
deaf and hard of hearing and the blind and visually impaired

Counseling and Guidance
-
Job placement and
follow-along
-
Rehabilitation Technology
(adaptive equipment and workplace accommodations not provided by the
employer)

Post-employment services
-
Temporary assistance with
transportation and basic living expenses while participating in the
program
